Evaluación de la calidad sensorial del grano de cacao en tres pisos térmicos de la zona de San Vicente de Chucuri para el clon ICS 60.

The cocoa (Theobroma cacao L.) is a natural product from the region of Santander and it has been tied to economical and social processes related to the Department of Santander. Nowadays it’s an economical peasant`s crop; San Vicente de Chucurí township is the main producer of cocoa in Santander, here you can find cocoa`s crops from two hundred to one thousand two hundred meters above sea level with different kinds of forest arrangements, several species and varieties associated to cocoa`s crops, different conditions of microclimate which generates changes in the productive and sanitarian behavior of itself; the cocoa produced in this region is well known because of its high quality even thought there are not studies enough in order to support it.
