Condiciones económicas y sociales para la toma de decisiones de productores campesinos, sobre el mantenimiento o cambio del cultivo del café, en la zona marginal cafetera baja de Colombia : estudio de caso de 21 fincas de la vereda El Socorro municipio de Falan - Tolima

This research analyzes the dynamics of decision-making towards changes in the agricultural system based on coffee, by other also related as corn, passion fruit, cocoa, banana, guava. avocado and cocoa among others, 21 peasant fanners from the village El Socorro, municipal of Kalan Department of Tolima, the data collection was conducted through site visits, interviews with peasant producers, interviews with officials involved in this process and the mapping of the area to analyze social conditions and economic and what producers have for making decisions regarding their production during the period 2009 - 2015, compared to the unstable of coffee prices and it's phyiosanitary problems, the questions were. What were the social and economic conditions of producers in the path El Socorro for making decisions about changes in their production systems between 2009 and 2015?, since peasant producers came to transform their social, cultural and economic intone with the change or diversify their production sy stems. Risk as the conjugation between uncertainties and likely led to the decision of other problems developed, such as instability of prices paid to the farmer producer and the stagnation of generational relief in the area due to the migration of young population to urban centers.
