Speaking of the traditional Afro-Caucacan farm, is a generalization that ignores the historical process of territorial transformation, propitiated by the economic and political dynamics of the agro-industrial model, which relegated the great diversity of people of African descent, the forms of life associated with nature and life stories of the families that run the farms. The traditional farm houses a great diversity of plants and animals of shade and fresh land. This territory agricultural land combined with domestic animals, such as poultry, has been important in family feeding and income generation for survival in this territory. The problem that is evident is through the transformations and losses that the traditional farm of the municipality of Guachene has had and the impacts that this has had on the Afro communities The population of the municipality of Guachené for the year 2017 according to the reconciled data in the Projections of municipal population 2005 -2020 of the National Administrative Department of Statistics DANE, is of 19,732 people, the population is distributed 4,993 inhabitants being 25.30% in the urban area and 14,739 inhabitants in the rural area, equivalent to 74.70% of the total population . It has a total area of 392.21 km2equivalent to an extension of 39,221 hectares. One of the economic activity of the municipality is the traditional farm, currently there are registered 1200 traditional farms with a participation of 38%, with a tendency to decrease forgetting that the traditional farm was established as the home of the Afro-Caucasus population. This project sought the strengthening of the traditional Afro-Cauca farm in the municipality of Guachene -Cauca through a system of sustainable production raised the ecological and profitable articulation between the biodiverse agrarian production and the preservation of the crops in a traditional way without the application of technologies, applying non-polluting processes generating added value and greater autonomy in agricultural marketing. The interviews as well as the surveys confirm the affectation that the traditional farm suffers from the sugarcane monoculture (Saccharum officinarum) going into more detail what are the inconveniences that affect the traditional farm (the flooding of the farm when they irrigate the cane , the drying of the trees when aerial spraying is done). It is also possible to confirm that the income is not enough to have a prolonged sustainability. Other points that stand out in the interview is that one of the products of greater profitability and commercialization is cocoa (Theobroma cacao).
