sistemas sistemas agroforestales

Оригинальная аннотация

Currently, the use of native and endemic species is promoted within cocoa agroforestry systems (Theobroma cacao) due to their timber and ecological potential (Cárdenas et al, 2015). One of these species, the Abarco (Cariniana pyriformis Miers), which has record and management in the humid and very humid tropical forests of Colombia, Venezuela, and Panama, including in the dry forest of the Caribbean (Morales, 2017). However, this species is in extinction due to habitat loss and over exploitation due to the economic value of its wood (Cárdenas y Salinas, 2007). With the above, this applied project aims to: 1. To know the agroforestry systems associated between the species Cariniana pyriformis and Theobroma cacao in the municipality of Playón, department of Santander. 2. Estimate current and average annual growth of the species C. pyriformis in farms with cultivation of T. cacao, in lots implanted in the municipality of Playón, Santander. 3. Socialize experiences of productivity and ecosystem benefits in people with agroforestry systems Abarco – Cacao established in the municipality of Playón Santander. To achieve these objectives, secondary information review, dendrometric data analysis and structured surveys will be applied in rural villagers and professionals involved in agroforestry projects, as well as databases available in digital repositories, scientific articles and other technical and academic publications. The applied project will guide its work, to the capture of information in situ, concerning practices in agroforestry systems as a technical discipline capable of counteracting the impacts caused by soil degradation and loss of plant cover in the region. On the other hand, it makes agroforestry systems very useful, and it is easy to interact with the environment. Likewise, this species is of great economic potential; its seed and wood are of high market value (Restrepo, 2010). It also provides nutrients to the soil in addition to being recognized as a human food especially in the Amazon regions (Restrepo, 2010). In addition, the bark, in moorings of tents and its roots in the manufacture of furniture (Restrepo, 2010).
