Evaluación de la cosecha inicial de cuatro clones de cacao (Theobroma cacao L.), en Asociación con Fernán Sánchez (Triplaris Cumingiana F.) y Teca (Tectona Grandis L.).

This research was conducted at the Experimental Farm "La Represa" property Quevedo State Technical University, located in the Fayta, 7,5 mile of the Via San Carlos , province of Los Ríos - Ecuador. With 01 º 03'18 '' south latitude and 79 º 25'24 '' west longitude.At an altitude of 73 meters, with 24,5 ° C, with a relative humidity of 77,4 % , to 823 of heleofanía, and average annual rainfall of 2178 mm.The soils are clay loam with a pH of 5,7. The experiment lasted a year. The association of four variables were clones of cacao (EET- 96, EET- 103 EET- 544 and CCN -51) with two tree species (Fernán Sánchez and teak). With four sub treatments and three replicates per tree species, was used a randomized complete block design in parcels divided (forestry species and cacao clones). Were planted 24 experimental units in an area of 9963 m2. 3x3 m distance between plants, with a population of 824 cocoa plants .The forestry species trees have 9x9 m distance, with 63 trees and 63 Fernán Sánchez teak. was evaluated the productivity , intensity of flowering, budding, fruiting Cherelles wilt, also the incidence of witches' broom , number of healthy and diseased pods , pod index and seed fresh weight in kg per year, was assessed and applied the Tukey test at 5% probability. The sprouting variables, Cherelles wilt , broom and stem straightness were not significantly different .The best flowering in the rainy season was the CCN -51 with 2,83 in the dry season the EET- 103 clone with 2,83. Fruiting during the dry season was the best clone EET- 96 with 2,50 in rainy was the EET- 544 with 5,17 diseased pods and EET- 103 clone in the dry season with 14,44 diseased pods. The Increased production of healthy pods was in the rainy season was the EET -96 clone with 129,33 and CCN -51 clone for the dry season with 204,67.
