[New equipment for the production of powder from cocoa husks]

Research results of studies of the processes of powdering and classification of cocoa husks powder made from the chocolate production offals were presented. Substantiation of application of cocoa husks powder as the substitute of cocoa powder in confectionery production was proposed. New design of the combined installation for preparation of cocoa husks powder and for the production of fine powder and classification of polydisperse alimentary pruducts were presented. Analysis of milling processes and classification of cocoa-shells in the observed installation were made. The fractional composition of produced powder was determined depending on the frequency of rotor rotation. Results of the mathematical processing of the differential line of distribution of the granulometric composition of obtained powders depending on the kinematic parameters of classifier performance in the criterial condition were presented. Criterial equation describing the dependence of classification quality on the kinematic and construction parameters of passing process was obtained basing on the calculation of attribute characteristic of the process of classification of polydisperse materials (coefficient of classifier efficiency, degree of breakthrough)
